Black Friday falls on 27 November this year, with Cyber Monday on 30 November, and plenty of people who want an Oral-B iO9 will hold off until then in the hope of a deal. If you are thinking of buying yours from us, you can stop waiting. Our iO9 Black Onyx is now £164.99, with free UK delivery.
The price you would be waiting for
Our iO9 Black Onyx is £164.99 with free UK delivery. You get the colour display, pressure feedback, seven modes and charging travel case our dentists chose, with support before and after your order.
Our current offer gives you the brush for £164.99 with free UK delivery. There is no price tracker to watch, no alert to set and no checkout at midnight. If the iO9 is the brush you want, the right time to buy it is when you are ready to start using it.
Black Friday is rarely the bargain it looks
When Which? tracked 175 home, tech and health appliances from May 2024 to May 2025, it found that 83% were the same price or cheaper at least once outside the four-week Black Friday sales period. A Black Friday price is often one you could have paid on an ordinary Tuesday. Ours does not move for the occasion.
The better buy is the bundle
A brush on its own is only part of the cost. It needs a new head about every three months, Oral-B says, and a toothpaste worth brushing with. Our Complete Care Bundle puts all three in one order:
- Oral-B iO9 Black Onyx toothbrush: £164.99
- iO Ultimate Clean black heads, four-pack: £20
- Biorepair Plus toothpaste: £6.99
- Those three bought separately: £191.98
- Complete Care Bundle with all three: £180.00, a saving of £11.98
Four heads give one person about a year of replacements. The toothpaste is Biorepair Plus, the fluoride-free hydroxyapatite toothpaste we chose: Sensitive Teeth carries 24% microRepair® and Total Protection 20%, according to Biorepair, and our hydroxyapatite guide explains the research behind it.
Stock is finite
We are a small shop, and our stock of the iO9 Black Onyx is finite. We will not put a countdown clock on this page, because there is no deadline. But if you have already decided, waiting only adds the chance that the brush you wanted is out of stock in the week you want it.
If it is a present
The bundle makes a complete gift: the brush, a year of heads and a toothpaste in one order. Our electric toothbrush gift guide has ideas at every budget.
Frequently asked questions
When is Black Friday 2026?
Friday 27 November 2026, with Cyber Monday on 30 November.
Will Onyx discount the iO9 for Black Friday?
Our current iO9 price is £164.99, and the complete bundle is £180. There is nothing to wait for.
Should I buy the iO10 instead?
Oral-B gives the iO10 the same seven modes, colour display, pressure ring and heads as the iO9. What it adds is the iO Sense charger, a stand that lights up to show your brushing, which Electric Teeth values at no more than about £40. Our iO9 vs iO10 comparison explains why we chose the iO9.
What comes in the box?
The handle, one iO brush head, a magnetic charger, a charging travel case and a head holder, according to Oral-B's listing for the Black Onyx edition.
Why buy it from us
The iO9 was chosen by practising dentists for the feedback it gives you while you brush: a pressure ring that shows too hard, too soft or just right, a colour display with the two-minute timer, seven modes and optional coaching in the Oral-B app. Our dentist's iO9 review explains why each of those matters, and our guide to where to buy the iO9 sets out the whole order.
Order before 4pm and it is dispatched the same day by Royal Mail Tracked 24. Delivery is free on UK orders over £50, so the brush and the bundle both travel free. Unopened, unused items can be returned within 30 days, and the iO9 carries Oral-B's two-year warranty, which you can extend to three years by registering it with Oral-B. If you have a question before you order, ask us: it reaches one of the dentist team, not a ticket queue.
